Live learning with real tutors
Students learn with tutors in live online sessions, giving them the chance to take part, ask questions and get help as they work.
Designed for busy lives
Tutoring should be easier to manage. Tutor Gym uses monthly access and a flexible timetable to help students fit support around school, clubs and family life.
“Tutor Gym was built on the belief that every student who wants extra support outside of school should be able to access it.
Working in education and private tuition, I saw how much of a difference extra support outside of school makes to students. I also saw how many families it was simply out of reach for - because of time and cost. We wanted to change that.
Tutor Gym exists for the students who want extra support catching up, the students who want to be stretched and challenged, the students looking for that extra boost of confidence. A wide range of sessions run all across the week, in classes small enough to make a real difference.
Our education system is under real pressure right now, and Tutor Gym is here to help young people achieve within it. So that tomorrow, they can walk into their classroom more confident than they left it yesterday.”

How we keep tutoring focused
Online tutoring works best when sessions are clear, structured and easy for students to take part in. Tutor Gym is designed around small groups, focused topics and live support from real tutors.
Trusted, experienced tutors
Sessions are led by tutors with strong subject knowledge. All tutors have an Enhanced DBS check and complete online safeguarding training.
Small groups with room to contribute
Tutor Sessions are capped at 10 students, helping sessions stay focused while giving students space to ask questions and take part.
Clear topics and year groups
Each Tutor Session is built around a specific subject, year group and topic, so students know what to expect before they join.
