I love helping students become more confident with English – whether that's structuring essays, analysing texts, or just figuring out what to actually write in an exam. I do lots of work with exam technique, so expect my sessions to be centred around methods and practical strategies you can actually use under exam pressure.

I also love helping students find their own voice as a writer, so come to me with your questions on writing!

I've been tutoring English for 8 years and I'm also the founder of Tutor Gym - I built it because I wanted to make good tutoring genuinely accessible. Outside of that, I run an in-person tuition centre too, so I've worked with students across lots of different settings.

When I'm not tutoring, I love exploring the UK out on a motorbike, shopping for vintage clothes, and walking my dog, Gus.

Mary Shelley came up with the idea for 'Frankenstein' while stuck indoors during a cold, miserable summer - she and her friends were bored, so had a competition to see who could write the scariest story. She was 18 years old. Proof that the best ideas can come when you're bored!
